As 2023 came along we found ourselves with one "sista" left to tie the knot. Naturally we all started to plan the final bachelorette together and thought why not travel somewhere to celebrate all the amazing years together watching one another get engaged and married to their partners.
There were many places we looked into but eventually decided on Prince Edward Island. Our days were filled with seaside strolls, exploring the charming streets of Charlottetown, and indulging in delectable seafood dishes and many, many beverages.

Today was our first day in Prince Edward Island and we landed bright and early and headed off to our hotel to drop off our bags. We quickly changed into our themed t-shirts for the day to ensure everyone we saw knew how "fabulous" we looked (as Donna would say). We grabbed our drinks and started to explore Charlottetown.
We decided to head to the Founders’ Food Hall & Market to grab a bite to eat, explore and wait for our first activity for the day. We found many incredible vendors with yummy food and desserts. After a much needed lunch we headed outside to our meeting spot with our guide. As a group we decided to book a pedal pub to explore and bar hop throughout the town. Our guide was incredibly funny and we learned so much about some PEI history throughout our pedal.
We stopped at a few bars throughout and begun our bachelorette scavenger hunt. Some tasks included...
Take a selfie with a bartender
Get someone to arm wrestle you
Take a tequila shot
Find someone named BRAD
After a fun and tipsy pedal pub ride we headed back to the hotel to check in and relax for the night before a big day exploring the coast.

📍Thunder Cove Beach
📍Cape Tryon Lighthouse
📍Cavendish Beach
Today we woke up early and had a yummy hotel breakfast before hitting the road to explore the coast. Our first stop was Thunder Cove Beach where we got to walk and enjoy the beautiful red sand and chilly water. We spent a good part of the morning walking until we reached some beautiful red cliffs at the edge of the beach where we stopped and took some pictures.
After this we continued on our road trip and stopped at some beautiful cliffs and lighthouses where we had a toast for our beautiful sista Jillian who we lost in the summer of 2021. It was a bittersweet moment knowing that we were celebrating so much love yet missing someone so special to our group. We love and miss you Jillian. ❤️
📍Lunch at By the Bay Family Restaurant
📍Mackenzies Brook
📍Anne of Green Gables Heritage Place
📍North Rustico
📍Dinner at Blue Mussel Cafe
The afternoon came along and we stopped for lunch at a small family owned restaurant where we enjoyed lobster rolls and pup style meals. A fellow customer saw our group and even made Tash a paper ring out of a dollar bill.
We stopped at Mackenzies Brook and the views were incredible. I have never seen anything like it before and it was a beautiful walk along the water. To our surprise we learned that the arch had collapsed due to hurricane Fiona. The views were still beautiful and we got to walk up to the rock structure even tho the arch had crumbled.
After a long day in the car we decided to stop at the Anne of Green Gables Heritage Place since this is such an iconic part of Prince Edward Island. The history behind Anne was very interesting and was a great addition to the trip.
To end our day we had dinner at the Blue Mussel Cafe where we ate some delicious food and yummy beverages. I had the most delicious and fresh blueberry mojito and the rest of the girls had caesars.

Today was our last full day in PEI and it started out beautiful and sunny which then turned to incredibly windy and rainy. We of course made the most of it and begun our day at Belfast Tulips. We saw a flyer at our hotel recommending to go tulip picking at this local farm. We had such a lovely morning walking through the fields and picking some beautiful tulips. Although we couldn't bring these home we made a nice centre piece for the hotel lobby receptionist.
We noticed it started to get really windy and overcast so we decided to hop in the car and hit some of the beaches we had left on our list. We drove all the way to Greenwich Beach and walked down the board walk to the beach. Although it was chilly we all loved getting our toes in the sand and even walking in the water... well those who could handle it 😉
As it started to rain we decided to see one more lighthouse and beach before we headed back to Charlottetown to explore some shops. Covehead Harbour Lighthouse was super secluded and honestly now that I think about it the location was in a very hidden spot. Driving to it we definitely felt lost but once we made it we were blown away by the view. We saw a few large mansions across the beach but it was very quiet with nobody around. After about 20 mins in the rain we were ready to be dry and warm.

Today we woke up had breakfast and headed to the airport to head home. This was a wonderful first experience travelling to the east coast and I already want to explore more.
So thankful for this group of woman who I have enjoyed calling family for so many years, forever grateful.
